This is a Test: Update

He passed! He passed! Tyler passed his test!!!

And not only did he pass, but he kicked some test A$$! (He made me say that! LOL)

He scored a 97, then he earned 6 points for "seniority," which put him at a 103 total. Overall, he finished No. 2 out of 40+ testers, with the No. 1 gentleman beating him with seniority points.

So what does all this mean?

He promotes!

He is now officially an Engine Operator, having moved up a rank from Firefighter. He'll most likely stay at the same station, Station 3, and will be the primary driver of Engine 3.

The promotion ceremony takes place this Saturday, December 10, at 2 p.m., at the Creighton Theatre in Downtown Conroe. And the whole world is invited!! Tyler (or Joseph or Maddox as they call him in CFD) along with 17 others will be honored as they move up a rank.

I am so proud!

He worked so hard; studied early and late; and kept with it. And honestly, he didn't compromise one other aspect of his life through it all. And our life was about the busiest its ever been these last few months, filled with weddings, showers, birthday parties, family events, holidays, etc. Through it all, he was still a great father and an attentive husband.
