No, It's Gas.

Diaper changes for Dash are becoming quite the ordeal. I mean, what two-year-old has time to lie down for 1 minute? While we are not officially potty-training (what mother-of-a-newborn has time to potty train their two-year-old?!?), we are making strides to get there.

First, we're introducing pull-ups. The hope is greater ease when we try to use the potty (and greater ease on those diaper changes!)

Second, we're baring it all. While I have done no research on this method, I've heard of success with letting boys learn to pee---outside. We tried it once, and well, we're 1-for-1! Dash thought it was great. (The jury's still out on what the neighbor's thought! lol!)

And third, we're definitely discussing things like pee-pee, the potty, and "stinkies," which includes the concept of gas. Gas is a hard one for toddlers to learn, and Dash is no exception. So, now every time we KNOW Dash has a dirty diaper, he looks us straight in the eye and says, "No, it's gas." Oh how I wish it were, 'cause Lord knows I have plenty of diapers to change and poop to wipe!

Any ideas for potty training boys? Love to hear!!
