The circus came to town late November, and well, according to Dash, it was a hit! Surrounded by close friends and even family (Misty, Noah & Caitlyn came to join us!), we sat for a somewhat private viewing of elephants, tigers, acrobats, jugglers, hogs, and more!
I say "private" because, as you can see from the pictures, there was hardly a crowd at Lone Star FairGrounds, but honestly that was ideal! We had plenty of space to roam when we needed to stretch our legs; we didn't have to wait in any long lines; and during intermission, we were allowed to come down to the circus floor to get an up-close, hands-on view of the circus acts---Dash got to ride a pony, and Misty and her kids rode an elephant.
It was truly a great time, and I think we are all looking forward to next year when the circus rolls into town.
