It's only fitting that Dash's first canvas painting should be dedicated to his new baby brother, Tad.
I got the idea from two friends: one who was (and maybe still is) on a super-crafty streak and had created some neat canvasses for her home/office/family; the other a friend expecting Baby No.2 as well; however, it was her daughter painting, and well, I think I remember the canvas turning out a little better than ours!
Dash was just having too much fun smearing the paint with his fingers, feet, and at one point, his stomach, and I just didn't have it in me to make him stop! (Of course, clean-up was fun...I think I scrubbed our bath-tub for an hour to "magically erase" the tiny leftover blue and green paint flakes!)
While you can sort of tell what the finished product looked like, Tyler and I plan to work with the artist to make it a little more appealing for the nursery. So once that's done, we'll be sure and let you see the final-finished product.
