The ABC"s of Me

Not that anyone reading this blog really cares about me (Lauren), but my friend Denise did this and it turned out really cute so I wanted to try!

A. Area Code: I live in "936" but my phone number are code is "832"---Great...first one out and I am already conflicted...

B. Bed Size: Queen

C. Chore you hate: Cleaning the bathroom (shower/toilets). That's why it only happens when someone is coming over.

D. Dog's name: LadyBelle

E. Essential "start of the day" item: Breakfast! I NEVER skip it and usually eat like a king (ok, queen) every single morning.

F. Favorite Color: Orange. And I am a firm believer that this color should be in every single room of my house.

G. Gold or Silver: I generally stick with silver, although I love it when others rock great gold chains or dangly earrings. I just might have to jump on the gold-wagon, too.

H. Height: 5' 6"

I. Instruments you play: At various times in my life, I have been able to play the flute, the piano, and the guitar. One summer I even dabbled with dulcimer at my grandma's house. But as of today, my skills for all three of those are very limited.

J. Job: Part-time public relations writer (Professional Writer---sounds important, huh?); part-time caregiver/home day-care operator, and full-time mommy!

K. Kids: Joseph Dash, who will be 2 next month, and Samuel Tad, who will arrive in January!

L. Living Arrangements: I live with my 3 crazy boys (their father included) and there is NEVER a dull moment. (stole this exact same answer from Denise!)

M. Mom's Name: Teresa

N. Nicknames: Hmmm...Babe, Boo, L-madd, Mama, Mommy, and while I don't hear it that often, maybe Lpgberry from high school.

O. Overnight Hospital Stay: Booked the penthouse suite in the maternity ward when Dash was born and (praise God!) that's it!)

P. Pet Peeve: Where to begin...stupid/inconsiderate drivers that put me and my family in harm so they can drive faster; when my husband leaves the water hose sprawled across the lawn after he waters it; people talking on the cell phone while using a public restroom...you know, the usuals.

Q. Quote from Movie: "I have a big and little arms." No, I don't know. I like to watch movies but seldom remember the details likes quotes.

R. Righty or Lefty: Righty

S. Siblings: An older brother, who's birthday, by the way, is tomorrow---Happy Birthday Justin!

T. Time you wake up: Usually around 2:00 a.m. for a much-needed, pregnancy-induced bathroom break. Then again between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. to start the day. If I sleep past 7:00 a.m., then I've gotten to "sleep-in" that morning.

U. Underwear: Is this a yes or no question? If so, I'll just keep everyone in suspense...

V. Veggies: Yes, I am a veggie fan! Spinach, mushrooms, squash, tomatoes, carrots, bell pepper---you name it, I probably eat it!

W. Ways/ reasons you're late: Who said I was late? Oh wait, I pretty much always run at least a few minutes behind. And the sad part is, I put careful thought into trying to leave early. I would like to say that most of the time, it stems from Dash or Tyler, but it's me, too!

X. X-rays you've had: teeth and chest/heart

Y. Yummy food you make: I like to think everything I make is delish...I usually get compliments when I stick to casseroles or cookies.

Z. Zoo animal you love: Monkeys! And probably the seals, too, since they usually put on a good show.
