Sunday was our big adventure: The Wiggles Wiggly Circus LIVE!
Despite Dash feeling a little under the weather, he had a blast! He clapped his hands; he danced along with masses; and he sang along to the songs, although he was quick to tell me to stop singing when I sang along...perhaps I was embarrassing the one-year-old in front of his peers.
His favorite moments were when Wags or Dorothy the Dinosaur came on stage, as well as the Big Red Car. (Come on, all Wiggles fans know what the Big Red Car is!)
I have to admit that despite the incessant kicking in the back of my seat by the kid behind us, it wasn't too terrible of an experience! First, we had GREAT seats: front row on the balcony. (While the view was perfect, I spent the entire show in constant fear of Dash dumping his Monkey or his sippy cup over the railing!)
And second, while The Wiggles may not be my favorite show at Verizon Theatre---Joel McHale wins that one; however, I'm looking forward to seeing how Tosh.0 competes---it was sure great to see my kiddo happy! (FYI - Tyler, a closet Wiggle fan himself, lol, opted to attend the Hunting Show with my dad, graciously offering his Wiggles ticket to my mom.)
After about an hour, however, Dash did have enough. With hardly any prompting, he waved goodbye to The Wiggles mid-show, so we left. No skin off my back, since leaving early meant missing the mass of people exiting; having no wait at the merchandise booth; and avoiding Wiggle traffic entirely!
