Blog Dump

Between chasing Dash, growing a baby, and trying to win wife-of-the-year (ha!), blogging has taken a backseat. But for anyone who is interested, here is the run-down from the last few weeks:
  • Great get-away to Galveston. Already miss the beach. Making tons of excuses get back asap--this time with Dash because we know how much fun he'll have.
  • Thought Dash was having ear troubles. Took him to doctor. Through randomness (read: God's intervention), found out he is anemic. (Ear's are fine, however.) Besides trip toShipley's this morning, entire house is now on uber-healthy, iron-filled diet.
  • Uber-healthy diet consists of tons of recipes from 'Deliciously Deceptive,' most of which are surprisingly delicious and filling!
  • Been working a ton this week. Spent weekend catching up on sleep. Feel like being tired also brings back 'morning sickness'. Need a few more weekends before Monday.
  • One new aspect to work--I'll be featured on the local radio station every other week, reporting the 'Community College Minute'! It's fairly low-budget, but been fun to go the radio station and record in the studio!
  • Olivia starts coming regularly this week. Glad for Dash to have a close companion. Somewhat nervous that I'll be able to manage as I get more pregnant. Trying to think of fun, cheap/free activities for two toddlers.
  • Dash's personality has really blossomed. Love seeing him play, realize he's funny, and come up with new ideas. Language is soaring, too. He's got a word for everything, it seems.
  • Tyler's deeply involved with Fantasy Football--already. It might be a long football season!
  • Appointment for Baby Madd No. 2 is next week. At 5 months, we'll be able to find out if it's a b or a g...if we decide to. Debating between knowing and being surprised...
the closest we'll get to a belly shot

yes, my son is in the cabinet. playing with all my appliances is fun

and even plain water tastes better in a starbucks cup! i think he carried that around all day!

Thanks for checking in!

Yay for a blog post! The mac/cheese and Bar were a big hit at the Carroll house.

You can totally handle two toddlers with a preggo belly - just think how fast the time will pass :)
