Our Newest Family Member

The Maddox's are a "dog family" once again.

Meet LadyBelle, a (approx.) 3-year-old Vizsla that we adopted from Conroe Animal Shelter. While we literally just brought her home, she seems to be sweet, gentle, and mindful of her new family. We were able to observe her & play with her yesterday for an hour or so at the shelter, too. Don't worry, we pulled her tail, tugged her ears, and grabbed her legs--things that any normal toddler or small child would do--and she could have cared less.

When we took her to PetsMart (because that's the first place you go when you get a new dog), one of the employees said that this breed is the closest you can get to a cat. I had a terribly mean cat growing up, so the jury is still out on what he meant, lol.

We are fully confident that this dog will be a great addition to our family!

She's beautiful! A Vizla is just a Weim in ginger clothing! They are soooooooooooo sweet. We have some dogpark friends that have 2. You'll love her. Our female Weim is named Belle, too. I'm so excited for Dash. He'll love it.
