While Tyler was working, Dash and I decided to mosey on over to downtown Conroe for the 2010 Go Texan Parade. What a blast we had! Dash LOVED every single float, truck, balloon, horse, and of course, suckers that were thrown out to the crowd!
My friend Kelly, who just happens to help coordinate the parade for The Chamber, was there with her mom and two kids, Sam and Riley. It was wonderful to see them--plus Dash LOVED playing with Sam and Riley.
My only negative about the whole event was the fact that Tyler was not driving the fire truck. In fact, the only fire truck in the parade was Budweiser's VFD. CFD was not represented at all! Boo! Like my friend Krystal said, "What's a parade without a real fire truck?!"
