TELEVISION: Yes, we do allow our child to watch television. It is one of Dash's favorite places to be - holding onto the TV stand and watching whatever show is on. In this case, it happens to some wildlife show, which is actually funny because I can't remember watching a show like that in ages. Normally, it is Sesame Street (Dash hearts Elmo) or Barney (major gasp! We do our best to forget when that one comes on), and Wheel of Fortune (we're considering registering Dash for a Wheel Watchers ID).
AROUND DADDY: In case you don't know, Dash LOVES his Daddy. When Daddy is in the room, Dash is wondering what he is doing and where he is going. I've even been known to gripe at Tyler for walking by during a feeding session, as this seemingly small act can cause Dash to turn his attention away from eating to follow Daddy about the house. In this picture, Tyler was playing the harmonica (rather well, might I say) and Dash was intrigued. The guitar has the same effect. Considering Dash's latest favorite toy is a miniature piano or a xylophone, I am about 99.9% we have a music-lover on our hands (that's how we know he is a true Maddox).
AT THE DISHWASHER: Finally, a lot of time is spent here banging around so Mama can actually make Daddy a home-cooked meal or bakes some cookies! Plus, for every spoon Dash sticks in his mouth, he gets $.25 to add to his weekly allowance (you can never teach them about chores too early).
