The Maddox's are completely blessed to have close friends who have been given the gift of photography.
For starters, Jenny Abke (plug: Binkie Baby Boutique) graciously came over and snapped some beautiful pictures of Dash when he was only about one week old. Her gorgeous pictures were featured on his birth announcement / our Christmas card, as well as the main picture on this blog.
Then, Lydia Jones (plug: hot city girl!) snapped some amazing photos of Dash just the other day. The fact that I (Lauren) was able to be in a few was so special because it seems that moms are always taking the pictures and are rarely featured in them! Lydia is definitely gifted in the art of photography, wouldn't you say? P.S. Lydia is riding in the MS150 - CRAZY - so if you feel so inclined, click here to donate for her cause. As of 3/17, she was using Dash as her marketing tool!
I also gotta send a shout out to my pal Krystal, a fellow mommy too, who is a great picture-taker too! Although she hasn't snapped any pictures of my baby, her photography gift can be seen on her blog!
The last person I want to highlight on my photographer shout-out is Tyler! He probably doesn't get to use his skills as often as he would like, but he is sure good. In fact, he took a picture that I entered in a school photography contest and it won!! (So I guess I have him to thank for that "A" and the fact that I didn't have to take the final, and well ultimately my #1 rank!) I re-posted the picture because it is so stinkin' good. Love the photos. And wow Tyler does deserve the credit, I really like the colors of the hot air ballons. He should submit it to Kodak or something like that.
He is absolutely adorable!! I cant wait to meet him... eventually!! sigh
Dash is getting so big! And you look great in these pictures...I would never be able to tell you just had a baby! You're family is just adorbale. :)
