1:47 a.m (or was it 2:47 a.m.? i have no clue) - fed the baby / changed diaper / put baby in crib to sleep. tyler slept the entire time.
7:04 a.m. - screaming baby awakes us. the issue: gas. worked out gas bubbles using handy bicycle/leg maneuver. tyler takes baby on his belly and both fall asleep. i question what in my diet caused such an outburst. then i question whether or not i can sustain for the next few months on bread alone so baby won't get gas. i fall asleep debating.
8:15 a.m. - baby stirs notifying us it is time to eat again. fed the baby. left daddy to do diaper change. heard "help!" as tyler was changing diaper. baby shot over his own head and peed all over wall. nice aim. changed baby and prepared for the day.
10:00 a.m. - time to feed again. feel something wet during nursing. baby peed through diaper, clothes, and all over my stomach. changed baby's clothes a second time. wipe own stomach with a baby wipe.
11:09 a.m. sneak out door to try to run 4 errands before baby needs to be fed again.
12:30 p.m. - i return home having only completed two of the four errands. daddy is on couch holding baby. i say hello to baby and drum roll please...baby smiles in response to my voice!! it was a clear smile at me - no gas or pee!! heart melted then and there and i promised to give the baby anything it ever wanted.
12:32 p.m. - baby wants to eat. fed baby. change diaper and baby pees on himself and clothes during the changing. baby manages to avoid wall this time. Changed baby's clothes for third time today.
3:15 p.m. - baby wants to eat - celebrated baby making it almost three hours between feedings! caught spit-up with burp clothes before it hit leather couch. wiped spit-up off jeans.
4:13 p.m. - gently laid baby in crib and began typing blog post. will predict next move: 4:15 p.m. mama asleep on couch until baby wakes up.

this has to be the most accurate post ever! God's sense of humor is fabulous as he creates babies that smile just when their parents think they can't do/take anymore. congratulations on your heart being forever stolen by dash (even more than you thought it already was)!
He did all this on your birthday!! What a great gift! He is the gift that keeps on giving, forever.
