Our first dr.'s appt. was today. The main thing checked was to see if he was gaining his weight back. In 10-14 days they should have gained enough weight back to be at their birth weight again. At 5 days old Dash weighed in at a whopping 7lbs 8oz., 3oz. more than birth weight. I'm not sure if it's his mother's over achiever or his dad's eagerness to do things people don't think he can, but he's definately a Maddox. Everything else checked out great and he a very healthy baby...what more can you want. He also thinks he's pirate. He loves to open one eye and check out everything to see if it is really worth waking up and using both eyes. I'll get pics of his pirate face tomorrow. That's all from Maddoxland.

the pirate face was my favorite! soak it in and commit it to memory 'cause it doesn't last long... dash is just too cute for words!
You should seriously collect as many 'expressions' as possible via photographical device and make a little guide to Dash's emotions... this pic could count as "satisfaction".
My initial challenge to you is to find photos that match the follow emotions/feelings:
pirate (obviously)
happiness
mischief
frustration
confusion
relief (if you know what I mean)
peaceful (which may follow relief)
Feel free to add others as Dash invents them.
btw... I think I got your title riddle - is it that as we look at Dash's pic we're supposed to finish the lyric "I say hello"... WAY too creative. Keep them coming - the title is the most important part of the post, it draws your readers in and leaves them thinking afterwards!
I was sure you would be the only one to get it...kudos.
