Decorating for fall is one of my favorite things to do. Maybe it's because Texas really doesn't have a fall season, so I feel the need to create my own inside the house.
So combine that with my latest time-suck Pinterest, and well, it's a recipe for lots and lots of fall arts and crafts! Here are some pictures of my harvest of autumn decorations:
I made the "Thanks"
Super-simple project that can be for any holiday/occasion if you change the word. I saw this idea on Pinterest, and well, that spurred all that follows...
This homemade/hand-painted garland
(Painted with love by Dash, my Aunt Cheryl, and my Grandma Bedford.) Hobby Lobby has all fall crafts 40%-off, which made the paint, glitter, and wooden cutouts less than $4.00. I hot-glued them to some twine for this memorable decoration.
Easy enough--I swapped out the decorative stones in my fleur-de-lis sconces with some festive leaves.
Add in some pumpkins, my Kirkland's Deal of the Day cornucopia, and a sweet Baby Tad for the cutest display ever!
My pre-meal time table.
Post meal time it's covered in what I refer to as a layer of "stick"
Touching all the senses...Pumpkin Roll Cake candle by Paula Deen.
I burn this practically 24/7, which is fine since I picked it up from Michael's using a 40%-off coupon.
Another one of Dash's additions.
And don't forget the wreath on the front door.
I got the letter "M" for the center, but it doesn't show up well with the "peep-hole" thing behind it. Any ideas for how to incorporate the "M" in the front-door/wreath ensemble?
