- You make 5 loaves of pumpkin bread at 6 a.m. (They were mini-loaves, but still---five??)
- You start crying at Disney movies or cartoons. Heck, you start crying at everything! Then laugh two seconds later. It's a vicious cycle that takes place at least once a day.
- You're willing to eat eggplant parmesan to entice labor. (Sorry to all the eggplant lovers out there; I guess I'm not convinced, but am so willing to try!)
- You find your Ob/Gyn revolting. (This after 9 months of thinking he's brilliant. Better him than Tyler, I guess.)
- The thought of having a newborn at home seems like the much-needed break you and your husband need.
- Coffee has absolutely NO effect on you
- You begin to believe that the YouTube video you saw of pregnant women galloping is genius and might just be the ticket you need to start those contractions. So, you gallop!
- Every time you leave the room, your 2-yr-old son says, "Mommy pee-pee in potty." (And 9 times out of 10, he is correct!)
I guess, in sum, I am extremely ready for Tad to arrive!!
- I'm ready to complete the marathon of childbirth
- I'm ready to meet this ninja that has resided inside of me for nine+ months and try to figure out who he looks like
- I'm ready to start a life with TWO sons
- I'm ready to go running, get my pre-pregnancy body back, and wear pants that have zippers
- I'm ready to sleep on my stomach (you know, when I find time to sleep!)
- I'm ready to have a (somewhat) normal hormonal balance in my body
- I'm READY!!!
So close folks...yet so far, or really so not up to me!
So pray for me to have a little patience, surrender to God's perfect timing, and enjoy the time while I can. Oh yeah, and pray for the imminent labor and delivery, including health for Tad, adjustment for Dash, and well, all the details that God has already figured out.

Just remember, it will end so try and keep distracted from the calendar. You and Tyler should have a date night too. How's Thursday? Let me know!
