What's Another 3 Boys...

Tyler and I have been lucky enough to host our nephews for the week, while they're mom is seeing the sites in Germany (jealous!). So, taking over our humble home is THREE PRE-TEEN and TEEN BOYS!! (They're ages 11, 12, and 16.) Perhaps it is a little crazy, but we absolutely LOVE them being here!

So far, my Scentsy has managed to keep the smell of five men (ok, four and a half) bearable (lol!), and the casserole exchange I took part in late last month (which stocked my freezer full of food!) has been the best thing I've ever done since the boys eat and eat and eat!

While both Tyler and I do have to work while they are here, we are trying to fit in as much as possible - skate park; exploring the woods in our neighborhood; swimming at the aquatic center, French Quarter neighborhood, or even the lake; spending an un-Godly amount of money at Incredible Pizza; hanging out with the best at Conroe Fire Department; and of course, since it is summer, lots and lots of video games.

Dash LOVES having them here, too. I swear he is walking around taller, thinking that he is a big boy. In fact, last night he totally shunned the jogging stroller (his fave!) in favor of walking, and yesterday afternoon, he completely fought any sort of nap. I also think that his feeling of 'being big' is why he climbed up into the kitchen chair last night at dinner (only to fall off and have his top teeth go through his bottom lip---yes, it's terrible to see blood on your child, and I have no clue how I will be strong enough to be a mom of a boy!!) Anyways, I swear when they leave, Dash is going to feel like the house is sooooo boring!

They've all been VERY sweet, so Mimi, if you read this, rest assured that your boys are wonderful! Dawson (the 11-year-old) has thought to ask me how I was feeling (you know, being pregnant and all), and Trevor (the 12-year-old) acted as if I was the ultimate chef because I suggested 'real' mashed potatoes to go along with dinner. And of course, Riley (the 16-year-old young man), has totally gone with the flow on everything!

Hopefully, we can catch and post some pictures throughout the week, so stay tuned!!

Sounds like a party! That's funny Dash is trying to showoff and hang with the older boys.
