Reeeee!

Yesterday, as we were walking up our front lawn to our house, Dash stopped, pointed up, and said, "Reeee." I looked around quickly, wondering what he was saying. This was not a normal word for him, so I started thinking...he knows how to say "bird," so that wasn't it. Same goes for airplane.

So I asked, "What did you say, baby?"

"Reeee," he repeated, as he pointed again.

This time I got it------TREE. He was pointing at the tree in our front yard. I was so surprised because other than in passing, this is not a word Tyler and I have used often or have really worked to teach Dash. But somehow, our little smarty pants had picked it up.

Now, we'll just have to be attentive as to what else he might be picking up...
