16-months. check.

I swear that my little baby has been replaced with a little boy.

March 14 (4 days ago, whatever) marked 16 months. Here are a few of the little things that make Dash "dashing!"

Quite the Talker: It's crazy how quickly he is learning words! He knows a lot, but the newest ones include: "Bug" (which is more of a grunt noise, with a tiny hand motion--cutest thing ever), "Belly-Button" (which must be do

ne while lifting up a shirt--preferably Mommy's!), "Lady-Belle", "Tractor" (you learn this one quick in Conroe, lol), "Bubbles," and "Cheese" (as in smile for the camera!).

Animal Lover - He loves animals, especially his new dog, and pretty much has all the animal sounds down, although the "Quack-Quack" sound and the elephant's "trunk lift" are his faves--he does both quite loudly. He also stops in his tracks when he sees birds fly by.

Cars, Tractors, Trucks, 4-Wheelers, Anything With Wheels - A true boy's boy. He picks up any of those things and

immediately starts makes motor sounds with his mouth.

Feed Me! Or let me feed myself, rather! Each day, Dash is begging to practice his new favorite skill--the use of the spoon. While the wall next to his chair is still covered in food, he is getting better. And speaking of his chair, Dash has refused the high chair. We are now a 100% booster seat family. Among his favorite foods are macaroni and cheese (b/c it tastes good and he can use the spoon) and PB&J's. That is the one food that--without a doubt--Dash will eat the ENTIRE sandwich!!

Well, since he's got me wrapped around his little finger, I could go on and on and tell you every little thing about him, because seriously, we think every new word, every new ounce of silliness, and every new milestone achieved is the best. In all, he is our joy.
