So it took about one more week, and now we have a baby who loves cereal! If you are a mom, you'll get this...but is it not the cutest thing when your baby opens his mouth and leans forward to chomp down on whatever goodness you have placed on the spoon?!?
Dash eats very well, normally swallowing more than spitting it out. We haven't quite finished an entire bowl, but I think that is mainly due to his efficient-spirit (like his mom!)  I mean after all, he can nurse and eat a lot more quickly than sitting here waiting for me to spoon feed him with hopes he'll manage to get the entire amount in his mouth. He has even started to grab the spoon, clearly thinking that he can manage better than I!
So now the question is how to balance spoon-feeding solids with nursing. (Doing both seems very un-efficient....again a concept the Maddox's are against!!) So, if any fellow mommy's have any advice, please do share!

How cute that he loves his cereal so much! Lynnae LOVED solids too. The first time she ever ate it, she ate a few oz, lol. I thought it was supposed to be a couple bites! She had the "bird mouth" :). I just feed her solids right after a feeding, that way Im not feeding her all day :). So that's my advice since yall asked!
