Attention Moms - Carter's Advisory

So, maybe you already knew this, but I found out that Carter's issued an "alert" (not a recall) on all their Fall 2007 tagless clothes, as a small number of people reported rashes on their baby's skin caused by the "tagless" tags.

Dash owns a few of these onesies, so I called Carter's to get more information. Basically, they were EXTREMELY helpful. Unlike many other 1-800 numbers you call, they answered the phone on the second ring! Although they were quick to correct me when I accidently referred to it as a recall, they were very nice in explaining
that, if I would like, they would send me a box in which I could return all my tagless clothes to them free of charge for a complete refund (Manufacturer's suggested retail...not value or sale price!)

I opted to go ahead and take them up on the offer, as I have noticed a few red bumps on Dash's neck near the tag area when he wears these particular onesies (although I did not realize that was what caused it!)

I think the only way to tell if they are Fall 07 is to look at the tag. It won't say "Fall 2007" but it will look exactly like one in the picture. I even asked Carter's and they just directed me to the picture! (I'm guessing they only did this for a single season, so it is not like some are ok and some are not).

AHHH! That is scary! But not all at the same time. That is great that they are sending you $$ back, very helpful since Dash is growing, you can get him new things!
